Down 15.6 pounds from the beginning of the summer! Not only is that a big number to me, but it was also my 10% target that Weight Watchers automatically set for me when I got there week 1. They say that if you need to lose weight, health benefits are best once you've lost 10% of your initial body weight. Sooo, I made my goal of 15 pounds today :D Haha, and I'd say I'm much healthier now than I was at the end of the semester when I realized one morning that I was eating ice cream for breakfast.
I feel so damn good haha! I went out after the meeting and bought myself a subway sandwich, then headed over to Mandee to get myself a dress I'd been eyeing before but that didn't fit me quite right yet. Looks good now ;p
On top of all that, I'm way excited to be leaving for Workcamp in two days. This will be my sixth year going on this church trip... that's so nutty. It sounds weird for me to be looking forward to this - I get to go away for a week, work my ass off doing repairs on a house for 7+ hours a day for five days, eat horrible greasy food, and take freezing cold showers - but it's so much fun getting to bond more with the youth group and meet new people and make a difference. Wow, I sound horribly cheesy haha. But it's true... I love this trip like crazy.
Also, Philosophy class is going really well. It's so easy I could probably never show up to the class again and I'd still get an A. I officially <3 RVCC haha. Speaking of which, though, I have to go now and do my homework assignment that's due Monday and send it in before I leave for my trip. I could turn it in after I get back, but I'm OCD and a huge suck-up hah.
